Hair is made of protein

A strand of hair is mostly keratin, a protein. Enough protein from fish, eggs, chicken, legumes and tofu is a good base.

Iron and other nutrients

Low iron is linked to shedding, especially in women. If you suspect a deficiency, a blood test through a doctor is better than guessing with supplements.

Crash diets

Very strict diets or fast weight loss can be followed by shedding a few months later.

No miracle food

No single food will grow hair. A balanced diet supports scalp health alongside consistent care.
