Damage to the hair shaft

Dye, bleach and rebonding change the structure of the hair shaft. Damaged hair breaks more easily, so it looks thinner even if the follicles have not changed.

Repeated treatments

Frequent or overlapping chemical treatments on the same lengths raise the risk of breakage. Space treatments out and ask for a strand test.

A sensitive scalp

If your scalp stings, reddens or blisters after a chemical treatment, stop and get a doctor’s advice.

Before Simulation & Stimulation

Tell your consultant when you last coloured or rebonded. We will suggest a suitable gap before and after treatment.

Can I colour my hair after treatment?

Ask your consultant about the right gap; it depends on your scalp and hair.

Does rebonding cause baldness?

Rebonding can make hair break and look thin. Loss from the root needs to be checked separately.
