Myth: caps or the tudung cause baldness

A clean head covering that is not too tight is not shown to cause baldness. Hygiene, moisture and constant pulling matter more. Read the tudung and hair health.

Myth: daily shampoo makes hair fall out

Washing only removes hairs that were already loose. In hot weather an oily scalp may feel better washed more often with a gentle shampoo.

Myth: cutting hair makes it thicker

A trim removes damaged ends and can make hair look neater, but it does not change what grows from the scalp.

Myth: only older men thin

Women and young people thin too. The pattern and causes differ, which is why a suitability check is done individually.

Does coconut oil regrow hair?

Oil can make hair feel softer. For weak follicles, a scalp treatment that reactivates them is a better fit.

Is brushing 100 strokes a day good?

No. Over-brushing can cause friction and breakage. Brush enough to detangle and style.
