Medicines and hair loss: talk to your doctor
Some medicines can be linked with hair changes. Never stop a medicine on your own; here is how to raise it with your doctor.

Why it is worth raising
Many kinds of medicine can affect the hair cycle in some people. Only a doctor or pharmacist can judge whether yours is involved.
Do not stop medicines yourself
Stopping a medicine without advice can be dangerous. Bring your medicine list and ask whether hair changes are a known effect.
Tell your consultant too
At the free consultation we ask for your medicines and allergies so our suggestions are safe and suitable. It also tells us when to suggest you see a doctor first.
Cosmetic treatment is not a substitute
Simulation & Stimulation is a cosmetic treatment. It can be considered alongside a doctor's advice, not instead of it. See the FAQ.
