How to photograph your hair to track change
Mirrors mislead, especially under different lights. Consistent photos give a more honest picture.

The same light
Take photos in the same place with the same light each time, ideally daylight that is not too harsh. Overhead light makes the scalp look more visible.
The same angles
Take four angles: the front with hair pushed back, left, right and the crown from above. Ask someone to help with the crown.
Hair in the same state
Dry hair, no styling product, parting in the same place. Wet or oily hair looks thinner.
How often
Once a month is enough. Compare over several months. Bring the photos to the consultation so the consultant can see your pattern. Read the hair growth cycle.

Should I take photos every day?
No need. Daily changes are too small and can add worry.
