Thinning hair in women: patterns, causes and options
Why women experience thinning, the widening-parting pattern and non-surgical options.

A different pattern from men
Women rarely go completely bald. More common is a centre parting that widens and less density across the top of the head.
Frequent causes
Hormonal change (after childbirth, menopause), stress, low iron, tight hairstyles and chemical treatments. Some health conditions also play a part, so a doctor’s check matters if the change is fast.
Non-surgical options
Simulation & Stimulation makes thinning areas look fuller on the same day, and the stimulation part cares for the scalp. Many of our women clients wear a tudung; we plan visits with privacy in mind.
The first step
The free consultation starts with a scalp check so you know the condition of your follicles and the right plan before you decide.
